Beautiful cottage with a cozy log burning stove. Conveniently located in a charming town with shops, cafes, pubs, and takeaways. Many interesting walks available nearby. Easy access to both North and South Lakes, only 40 minutes away. My children loved the charming loft bedroom. 😊

Lovely little cottage, had a great time chilling by the log burning stove. The village was really cute and had everything we needed – shops, cafes, pubs, and even takeaways. Plus, there were so many amazing walks to go on right from our doorstep! And let me tell you, exploring the surrounding area was a real treat. Being only 40 minutes away from the North and South Lakes was a huge advantage. Oh, and my girls absolutely adored the cosy loft bedroom – it was like their own little hideaway.
The only issue we had was with the hot water. It was a bit slow to run and sometimes it didn't even work.

I stayed at a lovely cottage on High Street for a few days and it was perfect for my family. The log burning stove made it so cosy and the location was great. There were plenty of shops, cafes, pubs, and takeaways nearby. We had so many interesting walks right from our doorstep and the surrounding area. It was also convenient to get to both the North and South Lakes, only a 40-minute drive. My girls especially loved the cosy loft bedroom.
I would recommend this hotel.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The cottage was so cosy, especially with the log burning stove. The location was super, with plenty of shops, cafes, pubs, and takeaways to explore in the town. And let's talk about the walks - they were jaw-dropping! We had so many interesting options right from our doorstep. Plus, it was only a 40-minute drive to either the North or South Lakes. The loft bedroom was a hit with my girls - they loved how cosy it was up there. And bonus points for the free wi-fi, parking, and the fact that pets were allowed! The only thing to note is that there's a strict no-smoking policy on site. But really, that didn't bother us because everything else was just perfect!
